What's the difference between a facial oil and a moisturiser?
Moisturisers are a mixture of water-based and oil-based ingredients, working to hydrate the skin. Facial oils work at a lipid level, replenishing the fatty acids and nutrients the skin barrier needs to function effectively. Used together, an oil seals in the hydrating ingredients from your moisturiser and reinforces the barrier against moisture loss. Think of it as the final layer of protection in your routine.

No. The Facial Oil is built on lightweight, fast-absorbing plant seed oils — specifically selected for their non-comedogenic profiles. Unlike heavier oils that sit on top of the skin, this formula absorbs quickly and completely, leaving skin soft and balanced rather than greasy or tacky.

Yes. Research shows that acne-prone skin is often deficient in linoleic acid (an omega-6 fatty acid). When skin lacks linoleic acid, your sebum becomes thicker and more likely to clog pores. Replenishing the skin with linoleic acid can help soothe inflammation, support your barrier and keep your pores clear.
In other words, not all oils are problematic for acne, the right oils can actually support, soothe and balance.
