The Brighten + Fade Duo brings together two powerful Deviant Skincare formulas to resurface and refine the skin whilst helping reduce the appearance of dark spots and post-blemish marks.
The Gentle Resurfacing Liquid is a leave-on exfoliant containing a blend of AHA’s (including Mandelic and Lactic Acid), BHA (Salicylic Acid) and PHA to gently resurface the skin, clear out pores and reduce blemishes. Green Tea and Licorice Root help brighten, whilst Mushroom and Centella Extract calm and hydrate the skin. The result? Exfoliation without irritation.
A next generation treatment serum, the Pigmentation Corrector Serum is supercharged with 8 innovative technologies to improve the appearance of hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone for a clearer, more luminous complexion. Pigmentation-busting heavyweights include patent-pending biomimetic peptides, an Azelaic Acid derivative to reduce redness and target uneven skin tone and Diglucosyl Gallic Acid, an intelligent molecule that’s activated by your skin’s own microbiome and has sixty times more brightening power than Kojic Acid.

Pigmentation Corrector Serum: Aqua (Water), Niacinamide, Propanediol, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Acetyl Glycyl Beta-Alanine, Potassium Azeloyl Diglycinate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Hexylresorcinol, Ethyl Linoleate, Diglucosyl Gallic Acid, Glycyrrhiza Glabra Root (Licorice) Extract, Dextran, Nonapeptide-1, Sodium PCA, Panthenol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Proline, Hydroxyproline, Xanthan Gum, Lecithin, Sclerotium Gum, Pullulan, Silica, Chlorphenesin, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Caprylyl Glycol, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Gluconate.
Gentle Resurfacing Liquid: 2-3 times a week (or as often as tolerated), after cleansing, soak a cotton pad and press into the skin in upward motions, over the entire face. Do not rinse. In the AM, always follow up with sunscreen.
Pigmentation Corrector Serum: The Pigmentation Corrector Serum can be used twice daily. In the AM and PM, smooth 2-3 pumps over clean skin (and after the Gentle Resurfacing Liquid at night). Follow with your other treatment serums and/or moisturiser.
Can I use the Brighten + Fade Duo every day?
The Pigmentation Corrector Serum can be used daily and can be paired with all other products in your skincare regime too (including retinoids, exfoliants and Vitamin C!). In fact, it’s specifically formulated to be used at the same time as other brightening treatments since a multi-product approach gives the best results for erasing stubborn pigmentation.
We purposely designed the Gentle Resurfacing Liquid to be gentle, with consideration that you may want to use it daily or in conjunction with other actives, such as retinoids. Whilst it can be used daily, we believe and recommend that skin doesn’t need to be exfoliated more than 3 times per week!
Can I use the Brighten + Fade Duo if I am breastfeeding or pregnant?
The Pigmentation Corrector Serum can be used during pregnancy or when breastfeeding. It’s packed with many potent, next generation brighteners but they all work their magic at a gentle pace and are paired with hydrators, and skin-friendly calming and soothing ingredients.
The Gentle Resurfacing Liquid is considered low to no risk for those that are pregnant or breastfeeding. The exfoliant contains 0.5% Salicylic Acid, which is considered a safe concentration in skincare products. The general consensus is to avoid products with a higher percentage of BHA (above 2%) when pregnant or breastfeeding, such as those seen in professional peels. However, we always recommend that you consult your physician/healthcare provider before using the product, who can provide you the best advice.
